I love this band... it's different.

I really hate how many people out there bash Claudio and it's a shame.
The story goes together great with the CD's that have been put out.

I'm looking forward to Good Apollo, Volume II

Like how the band makes an "album" and how the story unfolds. My favorite songs by them:

1) Welcome Home
2) Delirium Trigger
3) A Favor House Atlantic
4) The Suffering

They have lots of different styles and they throw them together nicely. Can't argue about that.

I don't know how anyone can consider Coheed and Cambria to be emo...
That thought never even crossed my mind until I saw that on this site...
kinda disapointing... I would definitly call Coheed and Cambria prog rock before emo...

YES! They are prog-rock! The music on alot of their songs have some pretty kickass guitars which, let's face it, few emo bands have and instead prefer to look skinny and rather depressed. I guess Claudio's voice is quite high which is generally an emo feature. Still i think the genre of Alternative Metal suits them rather well. Oh yah! They did a cover of the trooper! Rock on C&C!

Does the music sound better now that you've found a safe category to drop it in?

When a band crosses so many boundries such as this one it just isn't right to label it to a definate sound such as the emo genre. This band is anything from Indie to Alt-Metal but obviously not full blown heavy metal or anything definate. They are pretty bloody unique.
