I completely agree with Dustin. I mean, when you look at Take this to Your Grave, that's a killer album. But if you ask any 16-year-old FOB fan, she's never heard of it. They're making what sells, and it tends to sell to the little groupies. But they're making their music, and if it works for them, I say so be it.

I usually don't care about criticism but don't even pretend age matters. I started liking fall out boy when I was 13. That was four years ago. I've been in love with them since I first saw their live show, and I was only 14 then. I admit there are so many little girls that only like them because of Sugar & Dance, but at least they're still in it for music. Look at all the legal girls who sneak backstage because they think they have a chance with Pete. That is what you should be referring to when you talk about groupies. Give the kids a chance- they have to start somewhere.

listen, they're no beatles, but their music is undeniably catchy, their lyrics are fun, smart, and sung with precision that I don't see very often. and of course his voice is amazing. if you take fall out boy for what it is: a simple, fun, catchy band, then you shouldn't be too disappointed.

On a different note, still liking Fall Out Boy. Not my favorite band or anything, but I like them. Most of their stuff is pretty good. :) I prefer their earlier stuff (although not too early, as I think the "night out with your girlfriend" album is pretty sucktastic. but Take This to Your Grave is good). Yeah, they kinda sold out, but who gives a shit? They certainly don't care, as they're making more money and are more popular than ever. And everybody loves money and popularity. As much as I wish that they weren't hugely popular among 15 year olds on Myspace, I can't change it, so whatever. I still like them.
