For Once!... ...a badass female vocalist such as Otep. I've heard some others, but none compare to her hardcore vocal style. I've heard a girl doing scream-o, none too impressive, sounded just like a dude; indistinguishable. But Otep shocks the airwaves and punishes your ears for listening to her feelings. She truly had a fucked up upbringing in the slums of L.A. and we really get to feel the harshness burning inside her.
