Parkway Drive is back and fuck are they brutal. New cd, and you cant skip a single second of any song. Unbelievable.

I liked "Killing With A Smile" better. It had a mind-blowing hardcore grip, which was kind of absent throughout "Horizons"... Not to mention that their breakdowns, once totally destructive, have lost some of their edge. Nevertheless, "Horizons" was a great album, with some excelent tracks, like "Idols And Anchors", "Boneyards" or "The Siren's Song".

Ive heard that some people are saying that HORZIONS is weaker than Killing with a Smile. not true. just doesnt have the same "hardcore" feel to it. still heavy as hell, still brutal as shit. and still killer as ever. and the breakdowns STILL DESTROY

I personally feel that its weaker than Killing With A Smile. It just doesnt grab you like that album did. Alot of the songs sound forced too. Yes, its still heavy and the breakdowns are still nasty, but it doesnt live up to Killing With A Smile.

I dunno, I found both albums equally good.
I personally think that KWAM had a little more of a hardcore feel to it while Horizons is more of a metal approach.
Still good tho.

Saw them live yesterday and they were amazing. Not to mention I met some the band members and they seemed like really cool and interesting people.

Regardless of the general belief, you do NOT have to put a breakdown in every single song you write.
