Say what you want about Jerry Only.. but remember that he's been in every era of the band.
Sure the Danzig-era Misfits were better than Graves era and the new lineup... but at least Jerry never ditched the band to form a shitty goth-rock band.
Think, which band has had more success, Danzig, or Misfits (from start until now)?
Who hangs around at the end of every show to sign autographs and take pictures with fans? Jerry or Danzig?

I've only seen the new lineup live, and they still knocked the shit out of me.
I felt the same that night as I did the first time I ever heard The Static Age.

All I can say is "Don't knock it until you try it"

Jerry only tried to start his own band it was a christian heavy metal band called kryst The Conqueror and it never released an album because it sucked so much.
And Danzig is alot more successful than The Misfits, The Misfits have like 8 studio albums I think where as Danzig has like 11.
And I dont know about Jerry but Danzig hangs out with his fans after shows more than anyother person iv met.
So maybe you should take your own advice.

Well I've not seen Danzig live yet.
And no way is Danzig's solo stuff more successful!
The most popular band I've seen wearing a Danzig shirt is Bring Me The Horizon. And they don't count for shit because they're just whiny scene faggots.

Whereas The Misfits influenced loads of great bands!

you dont know what your talking about. Metallica worships Danzig and Samhain. Glenn Danzig has had an immensly successful carreer outside of the misfits and the only reason they exist now is because Jerry only couldnt. If jerry only would just change the name I would be satisfied. Glenn Danzig wrote every part of every song originally released by the misfits, music and lyrics, so I say how can you call it the same band without the songwriter behind it. that just sounds stupid to me. even Doyle, jerry's own brother, will admit that its nothing more than a joke.

okay look Danzig has more albums sold then Jerry has i have no doubt but Danzig wouldnt be half as popular without the Misfits that being said fuck Danzig he can't fucking sing Graves is a way better singer then him. After Graves left the band blew cuz Jerry is a greedy prick

The only reason why the Misfits exist was because of Danzig... I agree with Mörderwolf, the name should've been changed.

Glenn Danzig is one kickass Freemason. lol

I actually like the Graves stuff more than the Danzig. But that's what I started with, so yeah. Michale's stuff after he left Misfits is pretty damned good too.

I used to be Danzig loyal, but the more I listen to Michale, the more I like his stuff more. Famous Monsters is just too good of an album to ignore.

Danzig should've stayed with the Misfits, his new shit ain't so great.
Graves never should've left. He saved The Misfits once Danzig left, Only's a horrible singer for 'em
