This I think is one of the only bands that sound
the way they do but are loved by so many metal/
hardcore fans. They are great in many ways, and
no one should knock them because they know how to
do it.

Days of
the Phoenix, High School Football Hero, Third
Season, God Called in Sick Today, you can't touch
those songs.

AFI... there is a lot that i could say about this
band and the other "EMO" bands out there
but I dont want all of you "EMO" kids
coing to cry in your corners and cut yourselfs. I
used to be like you... dead to the world and
living in exile but i over came that and now i
realize that all the EMO bands are just an excuse

I dont see the appeal for EMO or EMO bands like
this. I mean I was extremly depressed at one point
for 3 yrs, was institutionalized and sent to an
Alt. School for anger management. and did I cry,
whine, bitch, dress like a girl, and cut myself?
NO! because I learned to deal with the issues. and
my probs were REAL! not the typicall EMO probs
like "My dad yells at me" or "My
mom wont buy me a car" or the classic "I
like a boy that I know dont like me". GET THE

I really miss how good AFI used to be. I mean
"The Art of Drowning"....so damn good
but "Crash Love"? Blah! I dunno what's
going on with the band but hopefully they'll come
together and make a good throwback album.
