They were good for what they were. And hilarious to boot. "Boiler", "Build A Bridge" & "Eat You Alive", among others, are awesome though.

This band is really good. They did an amazing job mixing rock, metal and rap. It's hard to do that and succeed. These guys managed the near impossible. I'm sick of people spreading shit about them. I wanna see them try to write what they did and do what they did and pull it off like they did. I seriously doubt any one could. I know I can't. So until any of you can do what they did then I pray you keep the bullshit you say to yourself. These guys fucking rocked harder for there genre than anyone else ever could or probably ever will. And at the very very least you better fucking respect them. It should be comforting to know that you will never have as much awesome as this band had in one toe.

They used to be my favorite band around 1999-2001, but even if they are not as good as the used to be and my musical taste has grown, I will always love and support Limp Bizkit...

I remember being in 6th grade and thinking LB was the absolute best band in existence. I think it was their album New Old Songs that turned me away from them.

these guys are awesome!!!! They were on mtv when music on the radio was WORTH HEARING!! nu metal was ment to be aimed towards angry, poor, pissed off, depressed youths with ages ranging between 14 to 30. the fact that gay preppy kids thought they should jump in and make it into something its not is what gives it a bad name. If u notice all the preps hate it now, but the TRUE fans still buy records. (ex. korn went platinum because of preppy assholes buying albums as well, but now that new, gayer stuff is out, its only the true fans buying albums so now korn and limp bizkit are only going GOLD) I am a true fan and would rather listen to REAL MEANINGFUL stuff then that gay ass emo/screamo wannabe bullshit that is infecting minivans all throough suburbia right now)

Used to be awesome, until Wes left the band. Hopefully, now that they're back with Wes, they'll start kicking ass again.

I just heard a few of their new songs on LB's official website. They sound pretty good. The whole band has definately matured, for the better. Sam John and Lethal's beats, Fred's voice and lyrics, even Wes' guitar playing, all sound different and maturer. They definately still sound like the Bizkit, but different. So the point I'm trying to make is Limp Bizkit kicks major ass again (WOO-HOO!) and the new album sounds great and I can't wait for it to come out.
