before I submit this thought I'd ask here, I have a ton of info on the new album, tracklist and the lyrics to 2 of the leaked songs. should I submit or wait until more info (cover and etc.) are available

Soundtracks - We're working on a V/A album feature which will accommodate those, but until that's complete, they can't be added.

Upcoming releases - You can submit them, but they won't be added until information for the album is solidified and confirmed through an official outlet (ie, PRP and torrents aren't a reputable source of info).

Basically, you'd add each single as a separate album - something like:

Album: Some Single
Released: (date)
Cover: (link)
Tracklist: (here)
Lyrics: (here)

Multiple versions of the same single can be added, but we need to know the correct info for each single (ie, which cover and release date goes with which tracklist).

Is there any "standard" for album additions?
For example, I'm a bit obsessive when it comes to Aphex Twin. Currently the Richard D. James album listed is the U.S. release, which is technically a re-issue as it adds the 'Girl'/'Boy' E.P. to the original track running order (previously it they were two separate releases).

So, the question, in an instance like this, is: Does that get moved to "Re-Issues" and the original (U.K.) running order replaces it as the "LP"? Or is there a different/better approach here?

Actually, I guess the question is, "What would you prefer, since it's your site?"

In that case, you'd just let us know about that... basically like you did here, except you'd want to include the info for the original release of the album (proper tracklist, cover, release date, etc.).

So one of my favourite albums is totally messed up with tons of incorrect words and lines in EVERY song. I re-did it all, but didn't note the differences (as per your instructions). Can I just submit it as is? It would be a major pain in the arse to go through it AGAIN to highlight stuff, and I'm not sure how you're doing your HTML, but it would probably be way faster to just cut and paste the entire song than to search through the >>100 edits for an album.

Yeah, if you're changing up the entire song, just go ahead and post your corrections as is. That rule was just if you were changing one particular line.
