Thus, the birth of Interpol continued.
Interpol made another incredible album. This time (unlike their debut album), it has 11 songs. After I bought this album, I listened to it and thought to myself "...and I thought 'PDA' and 'NYC' were the only 'Turn On the Bright Lights' songs I knew." I was wrong; there are more kick ass songs off this album besides the two songs I've mentioned just now. I give this album 10/10.
1.Untitled-- Very good intro, even though it's short. Just curious, if this intro is called "Untitled", why didn't they just call it "Intro"?
2.Obstacle 1-- More good stuff starting off this album.
3.NYC-- One of my faves off this album. That and...
4.PDA-- :)
5.Say Hello To the Angels-- More great stuff. The song's outro is incredible.
6.Hands Away-- Yet another great song as we enter the second half of this album.
7.Obstacle 2-- Just like "Obstacle 1"...awesome.
8.Stella Was A Diver and She Was Always Down-- And I thought Pearl Jam, the White Stripes, and Pink Floyd were the only bands that had long titles for songs...LOL...anyway, it's an awesome song. The middle and ending are kick ass.
9.Roland-- Crazy, but incredible.
10.The New-- Great stuff.
11.Leif Erikson-- Very good ender.
Overall, it's a great album. Great for any Interpol fan.
HIGHLIGHTS: Untitled, NYC, PDA, Say Hello To the Angels, Stella Was A Diver..., Roland
