Christ Illusion - the tenth album that Slayer has given us is one of those which is either loved of hated by fans and non-fans alike.
Firstly i would like the say that this is NOT the best album Slayer has written, but that doesn't mean that this album is not worth buying, downloading or whatever it is you do with your music. The songs on this album have the Slayer feel to them but don't live up to their older songs, but are still good songs in their own right.
the highlight of the album would be Eyes of the Insane the main single of the album and also the grammy award winning song. Other song that are also standouts is Jihad, which describes the September 11 attacks from a terrorist perspective.
So overall i think that this album is not the best Slayer album released, but isn't one to ignore as it does still offer some good songs, so I'm going with a seven
