The second single from Notorious B.I.G.'s second album "Life After Death", and like the album released after is tragic death. "Mo Money Mo Problems" was a big hit back in 1997 and spent sometime at the number one spot at the Billboard chart. I was never the biggest Biggie fan, but the guy could spit some sharp verses, however this song features Puff Daddy and Ma$e, and they are far from great emcees and to give them a verse each just isn't a good move if you ask me. Also the chorus, sung by Kelly Price, easily becomes annoying after a few listens. But what really sucks about this single are the remixes, all they are crappy dance remixes with choppy editing throwing in Biggie's verse near the end just for the sake of it I guess. The line "It's like the more money we come across, the more problems we see" may still be relevant (and not only in the hip-hop game), but save your money if you plan on getting this single.
