Wolfmother hasn't been around for about 2 years or so, and for a while I thought Wolfmother wasn't going to ever come back. The band had gone through some changes replacing different members, not really sure but in any case, Wolfmother finally returned with Cosmic Egg. I was honestly not expecting what I got when I bought this album. I was expecting maybe on a scale from 1-10 a 6 or a 7, but this album has completely blown me away. I am a classic rock junkie, I love Sabbath, Zeppelin you name it, and Wolfmother was definitely channeling those bands in this album. I highly recommend everyone buy the special edition because it comes with the single Back Around, which should of made the album. Every song is great, my favorites are California Queen, Sundial, 10,000 Feet, Cosmic Egg and Far Away. Buy this album is you love Sabbath or Zeppelin, these guys are the closest thing to those guys.
