Here we have the tenth Albums from Slayer and I would have the say this one is a mixture of their earlier albums and their most recent albums.

The album starts with near 6 minute long title track which shows similarities to "Hell Awaits" with an extended into which works into a song that sets up the rest of the album and the length doesn't even seem to be an issue with this song as it's well structured making it seem shorter than what it is

the rest of the album is basically what you'd come to expect from a Slayer album nice riffs, great solos and all that added goodness that makes a Slayer album a piece of art rather than a collection of music.

So if you have found Slayers more recent albums dull and un-interesting and wanting more of that old flame that was seen in the classic albums between Hell Awaits and Seasons in the Abyss I would recommend looking into this album as it has mixed the best of the classic with the best of the new Slayer making this one of the best albums they have released since Seasons

Stand out songs are the title track and Psychopathy Red, but every song on here is worth listening to

i give it a 10
