The Blood Brothers For those of you who are still wondering what the hell are the guys from The Blood Brothers doing nowadays, I suggest you check out Past Lives, the band formed by Jordan, Morgan and Mark, along with former The Blood Brothers' guitarrist Devin Welch (from the Rumors Laid Waste EP), after the band broke up. The Blood Brothers Indeed, this band will surely be missed. I have recently fell in love with their music, specially the "Burn, Piano Island, Burn" era, and knowing they had just called quits struke me for good. Happily, they left us a legacy of extremely well-crafted songs for us to cherish and remember this band's magnificence. Parkway Drive I liked "Killing With A Smile" better. It had a mind-blowing hardcore grip, which was kind of absent throughout "Horizons"... Not to mention that their breakdowns, once totally destructive, have lost some of their edge. The Mars Volta I do think Frances The Mute doesn't even compare to De-loused In The Comatorium, but, even so, it's undoubtly a great album.
