1. Taproot -  Path Less Taken
Great song. I wonder if the rest of the album is this good.

2. Anathema -  Inner Silence
This is just beatiful, on such a broad range of emotions. This is a song to draw one into one's self. Beatiful, to say the least.

3. Rx Bandits -  Decrescendo

4. From A Second Story Window -  Most Of Us Are Normal
I second BundtCake87's post. Great song.

5. Arctic Monkeys -  Do Me A Favour
Kind of reminds of Fight Club.

6. The Number Twelve Looks Like You -  The Devil's Dick Disaster
The ending is legendary. It's tons of emotions packed in four verses.

7. The Number Twelve Looks Like You -  Like A Cat
Wow.

8. The Number Twelve Looks Like You -  Cradle In The Crater
Very solid drumming. The calm sections are mind-blowing, as are the lyrics.

9. The Number Twelve Looks Like You -  The Weekly Wars
The beginning rocks, but from the Dillinger Escape Plan-esque "solo" forward, this song gets fucking perfect. One of the best songs of the album for sure.

10. Escape The Fate -  Cellar Door
@The Other: that's exaclty what I'm trying to figure out. "Your eyes in the glass where your face has a mask" could (or could not) be a reference to Frank, perhaps.

11. The Number Twelve Looks Like You -  Imagine Nation Express
Oh, the solo creeps the fuck out of me.

12. Muse -  Assassin
This song would beplain awesome, if not for the chorus. It's probably just me, but I can't seem to get around the chorus... I think Muse tends to spoil their own songs with their choruses.

13. Men, Women And Children -  Dance In My Blood
There's just no way one can not love the chorus, or avoid bumping and dancing to it. This track is golden.

14. Apocalyptica -  En Vie (featuring Manu)
My favourite Apocalyptica song. Very beautiful.

15. Good Charlotte -  Predictable
Meh, I like it. Forced and lame as it is, but I do like it, so what else can I say? =P

16. Pulse Ultra -  Tired
Best song on the album. The guitars in the intro are fucking beautiful!

17. Radiohead -  Idioteque
Perfect indeed. Idioteque fits all moods: it's dancey as hell, but still, it has a really depressing atmosphere to it. Ah, words can't describe this song.

18. Streetlight Manifesto -  Down, Down, Down To Mephisto's Cafe
Best song title I've seen all year. Also, definetly one of the best choruses. A must-hear for any fan of this band.

19. Streetlight Manifesto -  Would You Be Impressed?
Kalnoky's lyrics are superb in this one. I like the lyrics from Everything Went Numb better than the ones in Somewhere In The Between, but this one is kind of an exception. Great song.

20. Streetlight Manifesto -  What A Wicked Gang Are We
I simply loved the "Oh! The shame! Humility! What a wicked gang are we! Like a liar looking down on a thief looking down on a killer looking down on a creep" part, though I wish the intro to the three last songs on the record weren't so similar.

21. Streetlight Manifesto -  The Receiving End Of It All
Tomas did an excelent job with the backing vox on the chorus and with the lyrics. One of the best songs on the new album, for certain.

22. Secret Lives Of The Freemasons -  It Only Took A Whisper
Such a great song... I loved their lyrics style, and despite the singer obviously copying Daryl Palumbo's vocal stylings, his work in this one is very nice as well.

23. Head Wound City -  Thrash Zoo
Jordan really kicks ass in this one. Best song on the record so far.

24. The Blood Brothers -  USA Nails
Every single detail about this song is perfection. The Blood Brothers at their greatest.

25. The Dillinger Escape Plan -  Destro's Secret
Sundripped devil, scratched out my eyes. This song fucking rocks.

26. Bring Me The Horizon -  For Stevie Wonder's Eyes Only
"I'll take everything, you fucking BITCH!" Sick breakdown.

27. The Blood Brothers -  Vital Beach
Fuck, this is indeed catchy. I just can't stop listening to this...

28. Duran Duran -  Save A Prayer
And this is how you make an instant classic.

29. From Autumn To Ashes -  Short Stories With Tragic Endings
This song is surreal. No other word can define it. The emotion found in this one is yet to be matched by any other song.

30. Candiria -  The Nameless King
