I surprised myself by not only tolerating this song, but being touched by it as well. However, I feel that Britney has set a terrible example for young girls in the music video for this song. Ok, I know it's about reincarnation, but a 10 year old girl will not know that. She will see Britney committing suicide after an argument with her boyfriend. A very poor decision on the part of a woman who many young girls look up to.

First off.. I must say this song is simply beautiful. It's such a different type of Britney because we all are sooo used to the "teen pop" version of her and it's nice when she can come out with such a touching song. Second off.. with the video, I can't and don't understand why viewers get the impression that shes committing suicide?.. She reaches for her head and sees the blood on her hand and following that is a look of confusion.. ? Maybe the drowning gives yall that impression, I don't know? But anyways.. this song is amazing and I am hoping that she can come out with more song relating to this type of music and I give her the ultimate props for this song..

dumb people, the video isnt her commiting suicide. she gets hit the head by a camera from all of the paperatzi and then takes a bath feels where it hit her and looks at her hand, theres blood on it. She's a bit confussed with the affects of the hit from the camera and passes out and drowns. she had a concusion. stupid people. so literaly the media killed her. thats hwat she was getting at

I'm really late responding to a debate here. But I'd heard on some music show that it was a wrist-slitting with a theme of reincarnation. Until someone mentioned the camera injury, I never noticed it. It's safe to assume that many others, including professional music journalists, could miss it and misinterpret it. Again, possibly a bad impression to young and dramatic tweens.
