We are born pure,
From the day we are delivered into this world of light and noise,
we begin to be affected by and influenced by what is now our environment,
As we hungrily consume the visual, aural and emotional information that will be the template for our consciousness,
we begin to form a surface personality as a direct reaction to our interaction with our environment,
At a point in our lives some of us will realise that we have been existing as a shifting reflection of who and what surrounds and informs us,
At a point in our lives some of us will pierce and step through the faces we have grown,
to behold and embrace the pure and waiting face of self.

As you look away from the signs outlayed,
And from the truth as you look away,
Fading you pull away,
From the size afraid,
But for the chances that are at stake.
