Wow, I was thoroughly impressed with this song. The music has gotten a lot better since "Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses." The solo on this song sounds really good and is a great step in the right direction. As for the vocals, Brandon has really improved his voice in the melody. I kinda miss the other sound though, it was unique. Alex still has a great heavy voice, and I think it sounded like he was doing melody as well. Hmm...haha, i just read all of this because i wanted to see exactly what was going on before I commented on this song (pretty good, but a little too 80's hair rock for me, as a lot of atreyu has been on the Curse...although the guitar work and Alex's voice is amazing). But I know EXACTLY what the complaints are about new hardcore, all being about heartbreak and girls, I think thats bullshit. There are a lot of other things to sing about, and I think the constant complaining about girls and break ups is so fucking cliche at the moment its not even funny. This is the death of atreyu... my favorite hardcore band... I tried to like this song... i realy did but its fucking garbage... Every1 loves this song and loves atreyu without knowing what the real atreyu was and who they were... When I heard that Atreyu were about to release a new albumn (some good months back), I couldn't wait to hear a preview of some of the songs, and when I had the chance of listening to this song (well actually watch the video)...well I was kinda let down coz the minute it started playing I just couldn't believe it could be atreyu,as found it too catchy and completly different to anythin frm previous albumns, and ever since I've only listened to it like twice again. But the other day I heard it in a club and damn dunno if it was the alcohol or what but the song kinda reached me and found out that I actually quite like it. I mean they ve gone kinda softer/melodic with this song and overall in the whole albumn, but still it is pretty good, and probably what let me down was the video itself...coz yeah I agree with American_Psycho, what the hell s with the video..?! I'm an atreyu fan through and through. Unfortunately my opinion is my own but I do believe even those who "hate" atreyu and whatnot should agree with me in saying this is one of their worst songs, Lyrically anyways. Truely the vocals have gotten better through years, the instramentals, the whole shabang. This song however should not be their most popular. Lipgloss and black, Deanne The Arsonist, ect.
