Pathetic (benign)
Accept it (undermined)
Your opinion (my justification)
Happy (safe)
Servant (caged)
Malice (utter weakness)
Invade
Committed (enraged)
Admit it
Don't condescend (don't even disagree)
Destroy (decay)
Disappoint (delay)
You suffered then, now suffer under me

Obsession, take another look
Remember, every chance you took
Decide, either live with me
Or give up, any chance you had of being free

(Don't go) I never wanted any body more then I wanted you
(I know) the only thing I ever really loved, was hate

Anyone (no) anything (yes)
Anyway (fall), anybody (mine), anybody (tell me)
I want (you), I need (you) I'll have (you)
I won't (let any body have you)
Obey (me) believe (me) just trust (me)
Worship (me), live for (me)
Be grateful (now) be honest (now)
Be precious (now), be mine (just love me)

Possession (feed my only vice)
Confession (I won't tell you twice)
Decide (either live for me)
Or give up - any chance you had of being free

(Don't go) I never wanted any body more then I wanted you
(I know) the only thing I ever really loved, was hurting you
(Don't go) I never wanted any body more then you
(I know) the only thing I ever really loved, was hate

Stay inside the hole, let me take control (dominate)
You were nothing more, you were something less (innocent)
Something has to give, something has to break (omnipresent)
Fingers in your skin, let me savage in (you deserve)
You deserve it.

(Don't go) I never wanted any body more then I wanted you
(I know) the only thing I ever really loved, was hurting you
(Don't go) I never wanted any body more then you
(I know) the only thing I ever really loved, was hate

You're mine.

Sure as hell one of the best songs on this album. This shows how much Slipknot has improved. Some may disagree, but I think that it is good that Corey is doing more than just screaming. Singing doesn't mean that a band is selling out. I enjoy the entire song.

I love this song. This just proves the slipknot HAS changed for the better. It also proves that singing can be as good as screaming. And this song has both so its one of my favorites from this album.

uhhh... I don't understand why you'd comment on a song and band you don't like, but ok. Pretty good if you ask me, give it a few listens for it to sink in.

This is a really great song. I love how it's heavy then they bring it down for the chorus with an acoustic guitar.

This is my favorite song on this album, and it was since I heard this album. This song has so much meaning to it, and I like to hear complex lyrics... and I know that I can always get that from Slipknot. They make me think and that is just one of the reasons why they are my favorite band. YEAH!!!

If it weren't so fucking heavy, I'd say it was a filler. But it's probably the heaviest song on the CD.

Great song. It's a nice compliment to the somewhat softer sound of the album (at least soft for Slipknot). The singing in the chorus is a nice touch, much like it was in "Me Inside" from s/t. Except for when he screams "CONFESSION" and loses his voice, the song is great and a nice memory of the Slipknot of old...not to knock the new.

This is one of my favorite songs off of Subliminal Verses. For some reason I absolutely love the almost call-and-response-like effect they add to it. It's just amazing...

I like this song mostly because you finally here the clowns keg again after so many songs at the end. I just keep wondering what he's doing in the studio, how many coffee/smoke breaks does he take just waiting for that one part to show up. If you a fan on the clown then I'm sorry for that little comment I just find him to be useless on the stage most of the time. Good song though but not there best I will say.
