Covered As: Them Bones by Suicide Silence
I believe them bones are me
Some say we're born into the grave
I feel so alone, gonna end up a
Big ole pile a them bones

Dust rise right on over my time
Empty fossil of the new scene
I feel so alone, gonna wind up a
Big ole pile a them bones

Toll due, bad dream come true
I lie dead gone under red sky
I feel so alone, gonna end up a
Big ole pile a them bones.

Song Facts
Cantrell said," I was just thinking about mortality, that one of these days we'll end up a pile of bones. It's a thought for every human being, whether you believe in an after-life or that when we die, that's it. The thought that all the beautiful things and knowledge and experiences you've been through just end when you end scares me, the thought that when you close your eyes for good, it's gone forever."

A nihilistic and blunt opener. Short and certaintly not sweet.

one of those openers that just kicks you right in the face and doesn't stop pummeling you, even when the next track kicks in. this one's big on harmonies between jerry and layne, just like most of the album.

the solo is easily one of jerry's best. one of those solos you can sing along to while playing air guitar with your friends. ugh, fucking amazing track.

I agree with Jochem. Definite great opener, so powerful and charged.

One of the greatest opening songs ever. It was like getting hit by a crowbar in the teeth. It hits you so hard that you don't even know what hit you.
