Know me, broken by my master
Teach thee on child of love, hereafter

Into the flood again
Same old trip it was back then
So I made a big mistake
Try to see it once my way

Drifting body, it's sole desertion
Flying, not yet quite the notion

Am I wrong?
Have I run too far to get home
Have I gone?
And left you here alone
If I would, could you?

A classic slab of 90's grunge. Tops anything by the other 3 masters of the genre on raw emotion alone.

Behold, the greatest masterpiece that has ever been concieved by Jerry Cantrell IMO. Layne 's vocals make such an impact, you can feel the passion behind the words the he sings. Sean creates the most moving drum tab the just flows consistantly throughout the song. Mike with such a powerful bass riff to open the song. Jerry for making such hypnotizing guitar parts that puts you in one hell of a trance.

I heard that AIC wrote this song as their response to the untimely death of Andrew Wood of Mother Love Bone. First heard this song on the Singles Soundtrack and became hooked on AIC ever since.

It may be the album's closer, but it's the best song (also my favorite AIC song) off this album.

This is an amazing song, and was one of my favourites for a very long time. Jerry Cantrell's songwriting in this particular song is amazing.
