I think this is a great intro to the album, since its a conceptual album and all. The first song is a naive, biased standpoint song against everything but as the album goes on you can see the thinking process and how things change by the end of the album. Green Day is a great band. They didn't write songs about how their lives suck while making millions. Depending on their contract they might get $0.92 on each CD sold. All of the money you see them throwing around is not theirs. Also, their lyrics don't suck. He's 30 some years-old, not a kid. When you get past the age of 17, which obviously some of you still lack doing atleast on a mental standpoint, politics become very important. Saying Green Day sucks because they've made several good points about the U.S. government and nation as whole jsut makes you look retarded.
