L’ Via
Hija de Miranda (daughter of Miranda)
Tu Apellido se cambio (your last name changed)
L’ Via
Sin Ojos me quieres dar (you want to give me without eyes)
Una historia sin mi madre (a story without my mother)
Solo tengo que desirte (I only have to tell you)
El dolor de noche dice (The pain of night says)
Solo se quedo el vestido (just the dress was left)
Le lave la sangre (i washed up the blood)

L’ Via
No dejes de descansar (don't stop resting)
En la calle caminas (in the street you walk)
Quien te va a perseguir? (who is going to kill you?)
L' Via
Te quieren matar (They want to kill you)
Dientes de Machete (Machete's teeth)
Cabezas de gallo (cock's head)

L’ Via
Durmiendo en paz (sleeping in peace)
Abre los ojos (open your eyes)
Todo cambiara (everything will change)
L’ Via
Sonañdo de venganza (dreaming of vengeance)
Y yo te juro (i swear to you)
Lo van a pagar (they will pay)

Blackmailed, she fell off every mountain
The ones they tightly wrapped in tape
In her eraser sang the guilty
As it made the best mistakes
And with everybody that I find
And with every clamor that they mine
I won’t forget who I’m looking for
Oh mother help me I’m looking for

L ‘ Via
Hija de Miranda (daughter of Miranda)
Tu apellido se cambio (your last name changed)
L’ Via
Sin ojos me quieres dar (you want togive me without eyes)
Una sin mi madre (a story without my mother)
Solo tengo que desirte (I only have to tell you)
El dolor de noche dice (the pain of night says)
Solo se quedo el vistido (just the dress was left)
Le lave la sangre (i washed up the blood)

Blackmailed, she fell off every mountain
The ones they tightly wrapped in tape
In her eraser sang the guilty
As it made the best mistakes
And with everybody that I find
And with every clamor that they mine
I won’t forget who I’m looking for
Oh mother help me I’m looking for

Solo tengo (i only have)
Una hora (one hour)
Y me duermo (and i fall asleep)
Terminado (finished)
Por veinte y cinco años pasaron (for 25 years passed)
Siguen los cuerpos (continue the bodies)
Aqui temblando (here trembling)
Tome la sangre (i drank the blood)
Comi el cuerpo (i ate the body)
Mis lagrimas (my tears)
Quiebra el espejo (broke the mirror

When all the worms come
Crawlin out of your head
Telling you
Don’t be afraid
When all the worms come
Crawlin out of your head
Telling you Don’t be afraid

Blackmailed she fell off every mountain
The ones they tightly wrapped in tape
In her eraser sang the guilty
As it made the best mistakes
Shark kites got tangled in the moleskin
Urgent plea of escape
A mouth to mouth on the chalkboard
Written in fingernail distaste
And with everybody that I find
And with every clamor that they mine
I won’t forget who I’m looking for
Oh mother help me I’m looking for

this song stays upbeat and coherent throughout its 12 minutes, and the guitar parts are really good. ironically, though its parts are all more lively than the other marathon tracks, none of them are as compelling as the good parts on the other songs, and as a result this song is just as flat. still good, but even though it keeps its pace, you don't really care by the end of it. again, great guitars.

Some of the lyrics are slightly mistranslated, whoever did this was using a translator device.

Yes, they talk in this song like they were not Mexican, but I think they did it just for fun. It doesn't matter, I like very much this song. Oh, and bye the way, Dont be assholes!!!.... I almost piss my pants when I saw that the lyric was traslated in this page, you shouldn't have done that, so the American and English guys didn't knew what the song say, hehehe :D I'm just kidding. I love Cedric and Omar!!!!

"Yes, they talk in this song like they were not Mexican, but I think they did it just for fun."

I disagree. Remember, they are not writing thing from their New Mexican perspecitve. Probably the guy who kept the diary was Spanish or maybe L'via is.

This song is so freaking good.

They're Puertorican, not Mexican, though they were both born and raised in El Paso.

The Spanish parts shows to us English speakers just how beautiful the romantic languages can be compared to English. I love this song, I can't help but turn my radio all the way up when it comes on!

I think it's cool that the rock n' roll part is sung in Spanish and the half-time latin section is in English. But maybe I'm the only one that notices stuff like that.
