I love this song so much. and as far as green day goes, they have sold out, if you listen to their old stuff compared to their new stuff its completely different, they may say they're "maturing as a band" but thats a cop-out, its just like everything else out there right now, they sold out and hitched a ride on the mainstream bus. Don't diss Slipknot's new album, it's incredible, and not entirely too different from the old albums. When the listener hears V3, they can tell that Corey actually has a voice and more character to him than just always being pissed the fuck off. As for making Vermilion pt 2 the latest single, that was a big no-no, especially since it's the least like them on the album...But, being a fan entails allowing your favorite band to experiment with their work, lyrics and music alike. You can't hate them for wanting to do something different. As for Green Day...They could've done better, but, if you listen to the instruments instead of Billie Joe's voice, you realize that they really do have a lot of talent, they just don't know how to express if properly. And this song? Ha. It rocks everything and then some. Nothing, except Maynard, and maybe Brian Warner, surpasses the genius of Little Jimmy Urine. |

Alrighty. All the bands that have been either dissed or praised in the previous comments all have something in common. They all have fans. You may not like their music, that's your decisions, but there will always be someone out there who does. Just like there will always be someone out there who completely despises your favorite band. It all comes down to personal preference in the end. Whether you liked the new Slipknot album or fucking hated it. That's your god damn decision. It's your preference. You may not like the more vocal side of Corey Taylor and you might love the screaming angry side. But remember, there will always be someone who has the opinion opposite your's.
