As of the releases before With Teeth trent has only used 3 hidden tracks.
Two appear on "Broken" [Physical and Suck] and on Head Like A Hole [from NINs first NYC performance, a snippet of "let's hear it for nine inch nails, wooo they're good!"

one of the people said that this will be better than HURT. i highly disagree. hurt was a classic song & it was the shit. come on, like 2-3 bands covered it and did a good job with it. HURT has to be one of the most badass songs ever written. this song is good but it isnt HURT.

wow, these lyrics blow me away. it really makes you think, that's what makes it a very great song. if you can sit there and listen to it and read or hear the lyrics and it makes you think twice, you know the song is pretty great for the mind.

yeah amazing song, hurt is more memorable i think... and its more heavy... if that made sense, i don't think they can compare much... and no the matrix movies don't come to mind, i don't see how you would think that, haha, you might here this song after someone dies, and its showing the people all sad and stuff (the ones that are alive)

Or you might look at it as you are viewing the world and coming to a realization of what is around you. Not everything is what it appears to be. After all those years you have tried to figure out the world and you think you know yourself, will you end up looking at yourself and questioning who you really are, what the world really is... That's what it makes me think of. Trent often writes songs about things he realizes. That's why it's easy to relate to him and what he writes about.

I think what makes this track so amazing is the crowd about half way through cheering in the background. There is something about that, the feeling of having hundreds upon thousands cheering for something that makes peoples hair stand on end. Plus, it makes you start to second guess yourself and life itself. All in all, its a great song, the piano on repeat gives the song some kind of emotion aswell.

I completely agree with Jagged. If you didn't hear the crowd come in when it does I don't think it would make the song what it is. It's an amazing song. And the piano is just so beautiful. I also find myself putting this song on repeat without even knowing it.

I learned to play this song on the piano both the piano and bass part, and mr. trent must have almost busted his wirsts writing this song it is so much more complicated then it sounds and it is so beautiful.

I agree with Jagged, but to add to that, I sort of interpreted that crowd track to be an insight into what brought this song about. This song is essentially about second-guessing yourself and your life, and I see this as Reznor's musings on that theme as an artist in the public eye. When you think about it, that really is a classic struggle for so many famous musicians. I believe Waters and Cobain have both written on the subject, and this particular take on it has resulted in a very beautiful and touching song. It's been a while since a song has moved me this much.
