One baby to another said
I'm lucky to met you
I don't care what you think
Unless it is about me
It is now my duty to completely drain you
A travel through a tube
And end up in your infection

Chew your meat for you
Pass it back and forth in a passionate kiss
From my mouth to yours because I like you

With eyes so dilated
I've became your pupil
You've taught me everything
About a poison apple
The water is so yellow
I'm a healthy student
Indebted and so grateful
Vacuum out the fluids

Sloppy lips to lips
You're my vitamins cause I'm like you

Song Facts
Singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain wrote "Drain You" about his bittersweet relationship with Bikini Kill member Toni Vail. During this time, Kurt was beginning to find out that although the punk community is toted as being a place where individuality is celebrated and there were no rules, in reality people were very discriminate against each other and there were many "rules" to follow. This song is about both those issues in his life.

Why is BackOnd talking to himself? Cool song but far from the best from this album!

quite the underrated nirvana song. goes on a bit too long near the middle (as a lot of their songs do) but the verses are fantastic.

My favorite all time nirvana song. I really like the lyrics to this song a lot. The Vocal melody and the guitar for the verse work so well together. I do not think Kurt is given enough credit for his ability to come up with great vocal melodies. People make Kurt out to be an amazing lyricist, well.. i think that he is a tad bit overrated as a lyricist, but he really deserves a lot of credit for the vocal melodies that he comes up with.

My favorite Nirvana song, at the moment. It changes a lot, but right now, "Drain You" is it. It's catchy as hell... can't get it out of your head.... Kurt's lyrical ability is on display, like a lot of his songs... Just fantastic.
