I want to live where soul meets body
And let the sun wrap its arms around me,
And bathe my skin in water cool and cleansing
And feel... feel what it's like to be new.

'Cause in my head
There's a Greyhound station
Where I set my thoughts
To far-off destinations
So they may have a chance
Of finding a place where they're
Far more suited than here.

I cannot guess what we'll discover
When we turn the dirt
With our palms cupped like shovels,
But I know our filthy hands
Can wash one another's
And not one speck will remain.

I do believe it's true
That there are roads left in both of our shoes,
But if the silence takes you
Then I hope it takes me too.
So brown eyes, I'll hold you near,
'Cause you're thee only song I want to hear.
A melody softly soaring through my atmosphere.

Where soul meets body.
Where soul meets body.
Where soul meets body.

And I do believe it's true
That there are roads left in both of our shoes,
But if the silence takes you
Then I hope it takes me too.
So brown eyes, I'll hold you near,
'Cause you're thee only song I want to hear.
A melody softly soaring through my atmosphere.

A melody softly soaring through my atmosphere.
A melody softly soaring through my atmosphere.
A melody softly soaring through my atmosphere.

This song reminds me of something else. And not by them, but something close. Anyway, this song is so good it gives me goosebumps. It's beautiful, just like the classic DCFC and I can't get enough of it.

I know what it reminds me of. Speed Of Sound, for some reason. Maybe it's just the higher-toned singing.

it sounds like they got the singer from Mew to guest on this track or something. its sounds closer to a Mew song than a death cab one. so if you like this you should get Frengers by Mew

One of my two favorite songs on the album, I like the "do do do do do do..." part. It changes the song up really well. Great song!

Probably my favorite on the cd. It's a really cool song, that althoug there isn't much to it, it remains really original and unique.

Well I'd say it's one of their greatest moments. It's easily the best song on the cd, and one of their best pieces of work to date. In fact the only song I like better than this one that they've released is their cover of Such Great Heights.

wrong, Such Great Heights was written by The Postal Service and covered by Iron & Wine... Hence Such Great Heights being released on TPS's "Give Up" in Feb. 2003 and being their major single. Such Great Heights has not been released on any album by Iron & Wine.

I really love this song. Perhaps that it is because this one seems so derivative of the '80's alternative influences that I love or perhaps it is because the song is so damn catchy. Either way, it makes for a great listen.
