This is Metallica at their best! Without a doubt a classic and in the Netherlands often voted as the best rock song ever made. I also think this is one of their best. The musical part at the end is fucking brilliant. On the S&M version the guitarsolo is even wilder but the symphony fucks up with some parts so the real version is better.

The one of the greatest song by Metallica. Hey look, those who listen to Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, u might think the solo at the ending is a kind of shame. But to tell the truth, the solo ain't easy, and it is anyway one of da coolest Solo ever made by Kirk. So clear, so intense, followed up by the drum beats which sound like machine guns fired in the battle fields. Yea, very perfect song to seek out for when u want to scream.

Tapping is not one of the hardest skills, it's exacting but once you've got it down it's not the end all. You'd have alot more trouble running up and down a fretboard at 220 BPM than tapping like that.
