Enter Sandman by Burton C. Bell
Enter Sandman by Die Krupps
Enter Sandman by Iron Horse
Enter Sandman by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Enter Sandman by Motörhead
Enter Sandman by Richard Cheese
Metallica Medley by Sum 41
Parodied As: Polka Your Eyes Out by "Weird Al" Yankovic
Say your prayers little one
Don't forget, my son
To include everyone
Tuck you in, warm within
Keep you free from sin
Till the sandman he comes
Sleep with one eye open
Gripping your pillow tight
Exit light
Enter night
Take my hand
Off to never never land
Something's wrong, shut the light
Heavy thoughts tonight
And they aren't of snow white
Dreams of war, dreams of liars
Dreams of dragon's fire
And of things that will bite
Sleep with one eye open
Gripping your pillow tight
Exit light
Enter night
Take my hand
Off to never never land
Now I lay me down to sleep
Pray the lord my soul to keep
If I die before I wake
Pray the lord my soul to take
Hush little baby, don't say a word
And never mind that noise you heard
It's just the beast under your bed,
In your closet, in your head
Exit light
Enter night
Grain of sand
Exit light
Enter night
Take my hand
We're off to never never land

Well, when I was 10 years old, I saw Metallica play and I don't quite recall a lot of that show. It was a while ago and I do remember one thing..I remember a sea of people just chanting "Sandman! Sandman!" and they busted into what became my favorite song

A decent song, yet not very representative of the band. Anymore if you like this song you're too "mainstream".

Kick ass song with a kick ass riff. This song is far from being my favorite Metallica song but I do really love it. This is one off the first songs i've ever heard from them and right from the start I loved this masterpiece!

whoa, childhood memories. i don't give a shit if it's their most popular song or if it's the one that made them sellouts of whatever, it's one of my favourites of theirs and one that i grew up listening to. i'd rather listen to this than most of their other shit.

This song is a classic and pure gold. They never sold out or anything. All the ever did was make a fucked up album called St Anger. But this stuff is still really great!

Good song, but it got overplayed, and it wasnt even a proper representation of Metallica. This is when my love for Metallica died a little.

man, u are right poop. Damn right u are! What mainstream was about is Metallica being without Cliff - Everything changed. No more of the thrash metal stuff by Metallica anymore since then-hardly. This song is good, but the older stuff was better. The whole album is basically non-thrash metal, but just as good as addictive.

What's good about this song was it is personally composed by Kirk. Where in the morning he just somehow got into this cool riff. this cool riff is further improvised by Lars. Next this blew the door open. Soo addictive that the album quickly went into selling million copies and platinum. Amazing solo using wah wah pedal by Kirk. Classic songs i would call it and still i rate this under top 10. 1 thing for sure, it's "mainstream".

Good song!.. The studioversion is kind of overplayed, but live I can't get enough of it. Awsome!.. check the "Monsters of Rock"-version, damn it's heavy!

decent song but the lyrics are so stupid...metallica should've been an instrumental band...for some reason when he starts singing it tends to kill the awesome mood of the song
