like i said before, this album is the perfect
break-up album. it starts off with the more
aggressive, "fuck you"-type songs like "nice to
know you" and circles, calms down with "mexico"
and "echo" and then finally, with this beautiful
closer, you get the sense of inner peace and
understanding, of amends being made. the song's
gorgeously orchestrated and the lyrics -- with the
river analogy -- are strikingly vivid. this is one
of, if not THE best album-closer of all time. like
i said before this song defines the word
"beautiful."

when i was younger i used to always get insomnia
at the worst possible moments in time and this was
the only song that could put me to sleep without
fail. its so calming and peaceful... i think this
might be one of my favorite songs of all time :-)

The instrument is called a Ko-Kyu, and I LOVE it!
I could almost say this is my favorite song by
Incubus - there is so many elements, and it is so
incredibly beautiful and serene.

know which to love more, this particular line or
the song itself. i'm going for the song for it's
