As with Run To The Hills, the guitar solo was my
favorite parts. And in case he comes back to read
later comments; Cratic, how can you NOT like this
song, it's been on all of their Best Of and Live
albums, so it's essentially one of the best songs
they've recorded. Though I'll have to agree with
Schill a bit, it is quite simplisitc when you
copare it to songs such as Wasted Years and Can I
Play With Madness. (Listen to the songs if you
don't know what I mean.) However, most of Iron
Maiden's greatest hits have been quite simplistic.

All I said is that it was alright. They do have
better songs out their then this, it's just that
this one made it to the mainstream. I really have
nothing against this band. I think that they are
great.

Thanks for the clarification. But this is still
one of their most legendary songs. I mean, it's
freakin' track two on Edward The Great. That's
pretty damned good. Though I've still got one hell
of an issue with the critics of 1983 for assuming
they were satanists. And all because of one little
Beelzebub on the cover. I'd bet $50 they didn't
even listen to the album before making that claim.

This song is kind of in an opinion limbo. Old
stiff ignorant dickheads say "it's too evil and
satanic for anyone to be listening to" and
hardcore culturally inept ignorant metalheads say
"it's not heavy or evil enough." Personally I
think it's a classic but they've done much much
better.
