Sage Francis -
Buckets Of Silence
? what's going on
here? this is
pitchers of
silence without
the first verse...
2.
The Used -
Say Days Ago
This song is
great. I love the
guitar part, never
mind the lyrics
and the way Bert
sings/screams it.
3.
Sage Francis -
Eviction Notice
I like the end of
this, with the
woman screaming
and him saying
"fun times" over
and over. It
sounds almost like
he's egging her
on. But overall,
this is a pretty
awesome song. I
like how he (and
he usually does
it) revisits
similar lines but
changes words so
they mean
different things.
Sage's word play
is classic.
4.
From First To Last -
Waltz Moore
hm... yeah. I can
agree that there
are people who can
relate to this
song... but that
doesn't stop it
from sucking. It
comes across as
too whiny and too
self loathing.
I'd appreciate it
if he did it in a
more subtle way
that sounds
stronger. I know
they can write
lyrics that are
more clever and
less
straightforward.
5.
From First To Last -
Mothersound
PS I love when
bands who normally
don't do anything
particularly
special with
guitars randomly
break out and do
shit like this.

Between The Buried And Me
Yeah it's an
awesome album for
sure.
2.
See You Next Tuesday
You know, for a
grind band, they
have some pretty
deep and
meaningful lyrics.
Like,
surprisingly deep
for a grind band.
Strangely poetic,
most of the time.
3.
Arctic Monkeys
Humbug is such an
incredible album.
Seriously. such a
level of maturity
in their sound. i
think my dad would
even like this CD.

Between The Buried And Me
I can't wait for
The Great
Misdirect...
October 27.
Pumped.
5.
Chevelle
okay so despite
what I said,
Sci-Fi Crimes is a
fucking awesome
album. It took a
few listens to
adapt but it's
really good and
I'm kinda hooked.
