Garbage -
Blood For Poppies
This sounds like
it would fit in
quite well on
Beautiful Garbage,
but with Bleed
Like Me's raw
guitar riffs.
Kind of a
lackluster lead
single, but then
again, I could say
that about several
of the other songs
they chose for
singles.
Nevertheless, I
can't wait for
this album! It's
been too long.
2.
Blondie -
What I Heard
This sounds like
classic Blondie.
I loved it from
the minute I heard
it and it's good
to know that they
can recapture
their old sound.
3.
The Birthday Massacre -
Left Behind
This one's a
little weak I
think. It almost
feels undeveloped.
Like it's not a
whole song. It's
short and mostly
instrumental.
4.
The Birthday Massacre -
Burn Away
This track is
really strong too.
I kinda wish they
had included these
on Pins and
Needles.
5.
The Birthday Massacre -
Forever
I love this song!
There doing the
fairy tale thing
literally here.

The Dillinger Escape Plan
Whoa, I saw the
quote on the
homepage and had
to comment. I
just saw these
losers open for
Deftones and they
were one of the
worst bands I've
ever seen.
They were doing
these
choreographed
kicks and jumps
like they were
Fall Out Boy or
somebody. You
couldn't
understand a thing
the lead singer
said and his voice
was just bad.
Here's a brief
impression: Angry
growl - "blah
blah blah",
falsetto -
"cuck-cuck-ca
-choo".
Their light show
was a joke and
every song was the
same. They were
all heavy with
hair metal guitar
solos, then some
slow trancey
foreign crap, then
back to heavy.
Truly laughable.
I have nothing
positive to say
about this lame
band.

Fear Factory
You're still doing
it. HOGLAN is a
great drummer and
all, but he
doesn't fill the
void that Raymond
left as far as I'm
concerned. Also,
"Archetype&qu
ot; quickly became
one of my favorite
Fear Factory
albums and
"Transgressio
n" had a few
high notes, but
overall, yeah, not
so great. Whereas
this album is all
gray area to me.
There aren't any
tracks that stand
out to me in a
positive or
negative way. So,
no. I admit
nothing!
3.
Fear Factory
Okay, first off,
it's Hoglan and
Christian never
played the drums
in Fear Factory.
Raymond Herrera
did and the man is
a machine! I love
his drumming and
it's a huge part
of this band's
overall sound.
His absence is
really noticeable
and I don't
personally like
it.
4.
Alice In Chains
Now that Mike
Starr is dead, I
hope they give it
up for good. They
should have left
well enough alone.
5.
Peaches
I swear this girl
just keeps getting
better and better.
I Feel Cream is
her best yet and I
can't wait to see
what she does
next.
