although the madden guys have been going on in their interviews about how "they've developed" and "grown up" its all pretty much the same kinda GG song that pop-punkers know. However, the song is a step in the right direction of losing that "pop chart" tag they've gained. its got decent guitar work and the strings are a nice touch...the singing is THE major letdown tho...hes got to work on that nasal sound cos it drives me crazy!
2. The Streets - Dry Your Eyes
beautiful ballad. great track... GET THE ALBUM EVEN IF IT AINT NORMALLY YOUR KINDA THING!
3. The Streets - Fit But You Know It
haha! classic song! summer smash or what! could imagine done t'local beach wif radio listening to this whilst sunbathing or, as Skinner himself would say, "checking out da talent"
4. The Streets - Could Well Be In
this song is really sweet. not a laddish 'could be well in' but a kinder 'could well be in'. course iots got mike skinne rin his usual grating form but thats what makes the streets a band that anyone could listen to really. i know its garage-y and hip-hop-y but it aint half bad!
5. Rage Against The Machine - Know Your Enemy
best song of theirs? maybe not sure... tho well up @ the top a killer song for bassists unt guitarists alike...
