Did they get their name by Children Of Bodom's song?

Ha, it's funny... I keep hearing people praising Hot Damn when I thought that CD was hardly a step above crap. Gutter Phenomenon and The Big Dirty have a distinct sound, they are easily the best ETID has to offer.

They did forget who they were. Their old shit was pretty good, but now Keith just tries to sing clean, and, well, sometimes it works, but other times it doesn't.

But even saying this might make you think I love this band... I think their older stuff is pretty good once in a while, but I can't take them seriously enough to be a dedicated listener.

They didn't get their name from Children of Bodom. They had the name way before that band made the song with the name. Also this is the sign of a good band. They don't try to just make the same shit over and over but evolve with each album. I'm more of a fan of the old stuff, but the new stuff isn't bad either. I respect them more for trying different things.

saying NJA is there best is a bit much. it's not even the same. ETID has been on a clear path of change since burial plot bidding war. or last night in town. however you want to look at it. the focus is definitely more on their lyrics now, and they've taken away from that 'rock and roll takeover' sensibility they used to have. i still think gutter phenomenon is their best. it's kinda the in between album.

either way, they haven't sold out, so it's all good in my book.
