True simple plan is not punk its soft rock, but
soft rock isnt bad unless you listen to it too
much then its a problem. lol metal head all the

technically simple plan does fall under the
category of punk unless your one of those punk
rock losers who says punks to hardcore punks
better essentialy a punk band makes it big there
sell outs and everyone says there to poppish
ramones i mean come on doesnt get much more pop
then i wanna be your boyfriend i mean come on
people who know shit all about music should just

Demented Guitarist - you have no respect
whatsoever for real punk. Simple Plan is not punk.
They don't even sound punk. They sound like pop
shit. The reason I say you have no respect for
real punk is that if you did, you wouldn't even be
comparing Simple Plan to the Ramones. Thats just
fucking stupid. And "I Wanna Be Your
Boyfriend" is a good punk song by one of the
bands that perfected punk. They didn't create it
but they definitely helped to perfect it. "It
doesnt get more pop than I Wanna Be Your
Boyfriend"? Try Britney Spears, assgoblin.

Crap music. I used to like them... when I was 14.
Since then I've wised up and realized that their
music = shit. Srsly. That whiney voice just grates
on my nerves nowadays. Not to mention the fact
that they couldn't write themselves out of a paper
bag. Their music is perfect for emotional little
13-15 year olds who are convinced that the world
sucks and everybody hates them (aka kids going
through puberty), but everyone else knows they're
shit.

They've got more going for them than most pop
bands but they're still not very good. Oh and
jaytee, thats what i was thinking. Oh yah,
definatley not proper punk, i had to tell a prep
that once, broke their little heart i did.

down south! they use to be really good when i'm
just a kid and perfect were popular. used to be
one of my favorite bands. i've not listen to but 2
songs on their new cd and thats only because
they've came on the radio
