Jimmy Pop said what I had to say all I want to say is bow down and idolize the true king of darkness. manson has formed his own generation shit his own decade. What he writes and the wya he pieces it together will never be able to be reinacted. Eat me, Drink me is a summer opener and from what I've not been seeing is some good cd's lately The Used has a fairly good one other then that nothing so far. Read some reviews of this on Rolling Stone Mag they seem to love it.

Holy Wood was the last Manson album I enjoyed. He's changed alot since then. But that's just my opinion. I've been a huge fan since Smells Like Children came out. Out of all his albums, Antichrist Superstar had the biggest impact.

It's Manson.
Everybody knows him, which is, in all realistic likelihood, his primary goal in the music industry. He's intelligent, given, but a man to be worshipped, perhaps not. If you're looking for a reasonably intelligent out for your angst, then I suppose this is as good a vent as any, but if you're looking for great talent, artistry, and innovation to go with the intellect, I would look to the impetus of this mess, Mr. Trent Reznor. The man is a visionary who seems to never fade, and an outspoken critic of the industry that, though perhaps not intentionally malicious, does heavily impinge of the creativity of these artists we so admire. Now for those looking to actually expand their mind and with highly intellectual music that's still hard enough to break bone, there stands alone, and in it's own class, Tool. Absolute art, and near perfect, innovative rock music. Nothing more need really be said.
Manson, well, I get the feeling he's losing his edge.
