I agree, Nova. Except, I don't think she was ever how she acted. The whole skater look, the tie, the baggy pants and all that. She doesn't know how to skateboard, she's said so herself, but she makes it look like it in her video for Complicated. She was a little choir daddy's girl geek before some record exec found her and thought she could be a good choice for their mold of THIS. Her songs are absolutely horrible. They're catchy, but her voice is horrible and she can't actually play any instruments well. She tries to act like a true musician when all she is is a record company's made-up personality.
