TBS isn't a well respected band. The only reason that they're doing so well (which I don't even think they are) is because music is in such a downslide right now, thatwhiney little teens are so desperate they will listen to anything. It would be a different story if they were actually talented, but they're not. They sound just like any other Emo band out there, and they got no originality at all. I have no clue they're as famous as they are on the site. I have only seen one of their videos (just the one time) and had to download some of their songs just to see what all the hype was about, and I still don't see it. Like I said before, it has to be because of how bad the music industry is right now. You got all these people wanting music, but no one is showing them what good music can be, so they have to settle for whiney little groups like this one. Way to repeat yourself. BUt you're probably looking for me to say something new, and it's been awhile since I had a good argument on the site, so I'll go along with it. It's been said countless times, by many various people throughout the site on why it is a GOOD thing to comment on something that they don't like. I'll try to recall as many as I can here just for you. First (and the most obvious reason) is beacause it's their opinion!!! People have I right to free speech, and I tend to use it. Second, it lets others (especially those of the same taste in music) know what to expect if they have never heard the band before. Third; Some people like to say bad things about bands just to see how people will react. Face it, if everyone said good things about every song out there, this website wouldn't be half as good as it is. Fourth; Like my comment was, some people say things in responce to what others have said. Like that person went on about them being well respected, and I replied......

Good is a band or artist who is all about music, and can play their instruments and sing WITH talent, and who havn't sold their souls to the industry. Unfortunatly their are few of these types of artist remaining since now it's all about image, and not talent. And for some reason those without talent are also getting into the music buisness (groups like these guys). If you want to hear some "good" music, listen to some songs by bands such as Led Zeppelin, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, Mother Love Bone, Radiohead, and even some newer bands such as Tegan and Sara, The Zutons, Jack Johnson, and The Coral. If you want specific songs, let me know.

Well 99% of the people havn't heard of The Zutons. I actually found them by accident. And I do think they're a pretty cool band. They have some amzing riffs (like Zuton Fever), and some really calm and soothing songs (like Confusion). But once again, it's a matter of opinion, and he wanted mine, so I gave it to him.
